The iBarge app enables skippers to indicate their voyage status, exchange documents digitally and share relevant information about availability with their customers. Thanks to BigMile, information about CO2 emissions are added to these data streams. The integration benefits the entire inland shipping sector:

- It is a secure system because data is not stored in iBarge or BigMile, and not made public
