BigMile is looking for a data engineer, based in the Netherlands.
Within BigMile, a team of highly motivated professionals work with their hearts and souls on software products to help companies achieve their sustainable goals in the supply chain. With our solutions, we help companies and governments calculate their transport-related carbon footprint and make it transparent. In this way we offer organizations reliable tools to report, analyze and reduce their carbon emissions.

• You collaborate with ambitious colleagues who are also very sociable
• You will work in an international, dynamic environment
You will be a part of a team that sets up a large-scale carbon emission analytics platform for one of our biggest customers. This platform helps our customer to become more sustainable. Aspects like performance, user experience and emission insights are critical to give our customers the best experience as possible. You take full responsibility for the application that you develop with the team and continuously improve and refactor to meet new business needs.
The platform runs on cloud technology (Azure) and make use of various kinds of underlying services such as Databricks.
BigMile does not support relocation.
Whatever the work, we all love the challenge, and share the fun of learning new stuff and celebrating failure and success together.
